120v at outlet but won’t power a lamp, will power other things, lamp works other places?

The circuit will power tv’s, computers, clock, etc. Just not a lamp for some reason..? I get 120v off my multimeter. The lamp is a 2 prong desk lamp. The circuit is grounded. I don’t have a voltmeter. The lamp will work on a different circuit downstairs. Thanks!
